Janet Margarite Barkes

Janet Margarite Barkes, beloved wife of Roger Barkes and loving mother of Sundae Hneleski and Travis Barkes, peacefully passed away on July 14, 2024. She is preceded in death by her father Bob Hogan and mother Jackly Pesch Hogan. Janet will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Nacy, Victoria, Julia, and Gabriella Hneleski. She is also survived by her brother Bradley Hogan and sister Julie Ramsey.

Janet dedicated her career to nursing, working passionately as an RN. Her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many.

A funeral service will be held at Rader Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
