Janise "Jan" C. Kingsley
Jan Kingsley, 85, died Sunday, October 26, 2025.
Born Saturday, May 4, 1940, in Syracuse, New York, to the late Francis Allen Kingsley and Florence Jefferson Kingsley.
With over 65 years of teaching people the Bible, Jan has left an indelible mark on the hearts of so many. Jan never chose to marry. When she rises from her rest, she will be especially looking for her close friends & Bible students, her special family by choice.
She leaves behind her fleshly sister and best friend, Aurilla Waller. Her deceased brothers, Gedrick & Bruce Waller. As well as Danielle Dixon, Johanna & Dennis, Matt, Dulce, Maya & Melanie, Andrew & Sarah & Josh & Emily Siegfried. Mark, Corinne & Kaison Waller. Stephanie & Daniel Smith. While we grieve her loss, we continue to pray for the day we welcome all our loved ones back.
As a family, we await Steve, Tres, Ed & Jan on the sweetest of all days, their resurrection. We trust absolutely that our Heavenly Father, Jehovah, longs to see them as badly as we do. As Steve said, “It isn’t acceptable for even one of them to be missing from Paradise.” We resolve in our hearts to be there with the ones who have already made their name with Jehovah.
Friends are invited to join the family at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 3626 Cove Road, Roanoke, VA, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 4 p.m., with Marlon Morris officiating.
