Jean Carol King

Jean Carol King, 80 of Altavista, VA passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Lynchburg General hospital. She was born on October 14, 1944 in Lynchburg, Va to the late Lola May Krantz and Otis Krantz. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six sisters, Eliza May, Francis Odell, Florence Maybellene, Thelma, Mary Ethel, Margaret Krantz, two brothers, Homer Jackson and Otis Alton Krantz.

She attended New Beginning Baptist Church and worked as a self employed home cleaner.

She is survived by her husband Walter King JR of the home, two daughters, Pam Justice of Holden Beach, NC, Kimberly Hall of Gladys, VA, two sons, W.J. King III of Huddleston, VA, Michael King of Madison Heights, VA, twelve grandchildren, Angel Williams, Hunter, Dylan, Kailyn, Remington, Jackson, Willow King, Amaya Prevatt, Andreg De Leo, Lexus Watts, Jaden Hogan and Brandon Mullin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date
