Jean Reasor Nuckols

Jean Reasor Nuckols, 79, of Danville, VA went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Jean was born September 4, 1944, to the late Jackson E. Reasor, Sr. and the late Vera Hope Arnold Reasor.

Jean was known for her unconditional love for people. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She had a great sense of humor and loved life and didn’t take things too “seriously”.

Mrs. Nuckols is survived by her son, William “Bill” Nuckols, III (Linette); her daughter, Katherine Newcomb (Billy); daughter-in-law, Sherri Nuckols; grandchildren, Michael Nuckols (Amber), Will Nuckols, James Nuckols, Trevor Nuckols, Lauren Nuckols, Elijah Newcomb, and Hope Newcomb; sister, Carol Stowe (Jimmy); brother, Jackson Reasor, Jr. (Cindy).

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, William B. Nuckols, Jr; and son, Carl E. Nuckols.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Liberty Baptist Church, 18529 Franklin Turnpike, Callands, VA 24530 with Pastor Darryl Joyce officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to

1:45 p.m.
