Jeanna Sue Foley

Jeanna Sue Foley, 52, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. She was born October 17, 1972, in Martinsville, Virginia to Chester Foley and Cynthia Kirby Foley. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Jean Kirby; paternal grandparents, Ike and Reva Foley; her nephew, Skyler Rorrer; and father-figure, Pete Bell.

Jeanna was a devoted employee at Bassett Furniture for many years and held strong Baptist beliefs. She cherished time with her family, enjoyed riding horses, riding four-wheelers, and embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Her hobbies included crafting, listening to music, and taking trips to the mountain.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three children, Noah Foley (Skylar), Jonah Waldron, and Heaven Waldron; one grandchild, Amaris Craddock; one sister, Ginger Davis; and one niece, Kayla Davis.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM. The burial will follow the service at Mt. Hermon Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
