Jeffrey Curtis Young

Jeffrey Curtis Young, 68, of Callaway, VA passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2025.Born to James C. and Patricia A. Young on March 21, 1957 in San Jose, CA, Jeff was raised in Cupertino, along with two brothers, and attended Monta Vista High School. He served the U.S. Navy before moving to Franklin County, VA in the early 1990s where he worked as an electrician and later for Price Buildings Inc., Lowes and Franklin County Public Schools. He met the love of his life, Jennifer Jamison, and they married on July 21, 1995, spending 26 years together before her passing in 2021. Jeff appreciated life’s classics—antique cars, commemorative coins, gun restoration, history TV and hard rock. He will be remembered as a “sharp-dressed man”.Surviving are his brothers, Richard and Chris; daughters, Lynanne (John) and Billie Jo and their children; mother-in-law, Joyce Ann Jamison; brother-in-law, Ben Jamison (Colleen); special extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Lily, who was always by his side.A private memorial will be held at a later date.
