Jeffrey Howard Robinett
JEFFREY HOWARD ROBINETT, 55, of Bland, VA, went to be with the Lord he loved and served on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. He was born May 26, 1968 in Chicago, Il, the son of Hassil & Josephine Robinett.
Jeffrey was a devout Christian and loved Jesus. He was a past pastor of New Beginnings Holiness Church. He witnessed for the Lord and opened his home as a sanctuary for people who may have needed a place to stay.
He always put his family first. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing monster or taking them for rides on his lawn mower.
Jeffrey enjoyed drinking coffee in the morning and listening to it rain. He enjoyed talking to the blue jays. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to bluegrass music.
He enjoyed working with his hands. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing with his family. He lived a life well lived and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Hassil Parker Robinett, his sister, Charlotte Yinger and his father-in-law, Buford “Butch” French.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 32 years, Rhonda French Robinett; his children, Hassil Lee Robinett (Cory A. Buck), Timothy Joe Robinett, Isaac Walton Parker, Mia Cox and Allyson Cox; two special extra daughters, Kristin Dice and Amy Hooper; his grandchildren, Covin Anthony Lee Buck, YahYah, Lolli, Hayden and Gauge; his mother, Josephine Branham Robinett; his mother-in-law, Nancy Bowles French; his sister & brother-in-law, Misty & Randy Pauley; his half-brother, Hassell (“Porky”) Robinette; his brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, R.D. & Rhonda French, Carol & Benny Shockley and Tammy & T.C. Johnson; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, White Gate, with Pastor Cliff Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Morning Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until service time, 1:00 P.M.
