Jeffrey Loyd Litchford
Jeffrey “Jeffro” Loyd Litchford, 55, of Amherst passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, after a long battle with illness.
Jeff, born February 9, 1969 was a remarkable individual who stood out in his family for his unique and vibrant personality. Despite facing health challenges throughout his life, he never allowed them to define or limit him. A dedicated hard worker, Jeff spent years driving tractor trailers before shifting his focus to other pursuits. He was particularly admired for his woodworking talent, a craft he refined over the years with great passion.
To know Jeff was to love him. He had a distinctive way of assessing people, ensuring they were worthy of being part of his cherished family and friends. A devoted and loving family man, Jeff doted on his nieces and nephews, always spoiling them with affection. His care and dedication to his mother were unwavering, making him the kind of son any parent would be proud to have.
Though Jeff faced many challenges, his resilience and determination never wavered. He loved his family deeply, and his memory will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Those left to cherish Jeff’s memory include his devoted and loving parents James L. Litchford and Betty V. Litchford; his siblings Sherry Standley and her husband Ron, William Litchford and his wife Susan; his nephews Justin Standley and his partner Nicole, James Litchford; his niece Willow Wheeler and her husband Brian; and his great nieces Maddie Standley, Rhylee Standley and Aurora Wheeler. Although the highest held in Jeff’s heart being his beloved companion, Munchie the spoiled dog.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00pm at Harvestfield Pentecostal Assembly officiated by Pastor Steve Ramsey. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service, with a reception to follow.
