Jena Dale Hutson

August 21, 1987 - March 11, 2023

Jena Dale Hutson, age 35 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, March 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hilbert Lawrence, Oscar Hutson and Adele Penley, and James “Pedro” Ramsey. Surviving are her partner, Jordan Ramsey; mother, Monica Rigney (Nathan); father, Steve Hutson (special aunt Nikki); children, Logan Jones, Leaveah Ramsey, Lilly Ramsey; sisters, Sasha Lawrence, Krystal Doss, Heather Adkins, and Davin Adkins; grandmother, Linda Lawrence; mother-in-law, Cindy Ramsey; special uncles, H.S. Lawrence and Jerry Hutson; nieces and nephews, Nykel Claybrooks, Keysean Holland, Mason Swanson, Kaleb Swanson, MaKayla Swanson, Haizlee Chance. Jena attended Chatham Middle and High School and received her CNA certification. She enjoyed poetry, music, reading books, giving gifts to people, sitting with the elderly, candles, and granny’s biscuits. Most of all she loved her children, her family and God. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Rusty East officiating. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Family Cemetery (Sago Road). Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
