Jerry Butterworth

Jerry Lee Butterworth, 72, of Salem went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2023 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

A native of Virginia he was the husband of Sherry Jeannine Butterworth, who survives, and the son of Pearl Irene Butterworth and Russell Lewis Butterworth, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cara Ellen Cubitt; siblings, Joyce Irene Painter and Danny Lee Butterworth; and a brother in law, Roger Greer.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mary Kristen Black (Benjamin) and Beth Ann Butterworth (Dean Evans); grandchildren, Hannah Grace Cubitt and Kylie Elise Black; brother, Kenneth Russell Butterworth (Evelyn); son in law, Todd Cubitt; nieces, Lory Ann Cook and Sabrina Greer; nephews, Jamie Lee Butterworth and Sean Greer; and special sister in law, Leona Greer.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 10:00 am in Sherwood Memorial Park.
