Jerry David Gray

Jerry David Gray received his heavenly healing on March 7, 2026, after a long battle with is health. He was born on November 4, 1953, to William and Mary Gray, who preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Gray, and son, Jerry Gray Jr. He leaves behind a family; his daughters; Tamara (JD) Walker and Tara Stafford; his grandchildren, Kayeley Crumpton, Elizabeth Stafford, Will Stafford, and Mia Walker. He is also survived by his brother and sister; Danny (Linda) Gray and Blevenda (Jeff) Jones, and his nephews and nieces; Danny Gray Jr. (Debbie), Jonathan Gray, Trinity Gray Mingione (George), Jeremy Jones (Erin), Justin Jones, Christopher (Amanda) Scearce, and Thomas Scearce along with numerous great-grand nephews and nieces. He also leaves behind his precious dog, Bailey, whom he loved dearly, and his dedicated friend Larry Riley.

Jerry has been a member of New Testament Baptist Church since 2016, serving as a Deacon for several years. While his health allowed, he served in many ministries, including Awana, Teen Challenge, Hands of Action, Sidewalk Sunday School, VBS, and the Bus Ministry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Testament Baptist Church in Danville, 691 Iris Lane, Danville, VA on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 7:00p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service on the same day from 6-7:00p.m.
