Jerry Dean Graham

Jerry Dean Graham age 89 of Ferrum passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on August 19, 1935 a son of the late Halie Whitt. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife JoAnn Graham in 2009. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and loved living life to its fullest. It was his belief to take the time to not only listen but to hear what someone was saying to you and to do all you can within your power to help in any way regardless of circumstances. He felt very blessed and was fortunate to still be on this earth he called home and do the things that he enjoyed and wanted to do on the farm with the ones he wanted to be with. In his own words which brings much comfort to his family he has told them may times especially throughout the last few months, "Me and Jesus are good".He is survived by his loving and devoted sons, Jerry D. Graham (Lorrie) and Robert D. Graham (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dakota Graham, Dylen Graham and Lauren Cady; other family members and may friends.In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Jerry’s name to: Central Virginia Baptist Hospital, LTAC Unit, 3300 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA 24503 Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2024 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Haskew officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 PM Monday at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 5250 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley, WV with military honors.
