Jerry Lamont Brown

Jerry Lamont Brown, 70, of Fieldale, Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. He was born May 14, 1952, in Martinsville, to the late Melvin W. Brown and Juanita Lucas Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Geoffrey Brown. He was a member of Fieldale United Methodist Church. He studied at Rowan Tech in North Carolina and had been employed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, as a firefighter. He enjoyed playing golf, watching NASCAR, and visiting friends in Florida. Jerry is survived by brothers, Ronny Brown and Danny Brown (Karen); sister-in-law, Cindy Caldwell; nephews, Travis Brown (Elizabeth), Justin Brown (Laura), and Christopher Brown (Victoria); niece, Jennifer Brown; great-nieces, Katie, Emily and Darcy; and great-nephews, Judah, Hunter, Hayden and Cole. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022, following the morning church service, at Fieldale United Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date at Roselawn Burial Park.
