Jerry Lee Dunlap

Jerry Lee Dunlap, Jr. age 70, of Danville, VA, entered into rest in body, mind, and spirit on Thursday, January 18, 2024 while a resident of Carrington Place, Daleville, VA. He was born on April 28, 1953 in Dahlonega, GA to the late Roberta Cargill Dunlap and the late Jerry Lee Dunlap, Sr. He was married to Wanda Bostic Dunlap, who survives, of the residence.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dunlap was predeceased by a brother. Survivors include his loving wife and three daughters, Christina, Linda, and Rachel Carlile and a brother, Verlin Dunlap.

Jerry was a “jack-of-all-trades” and took pride in accomplishing any building project or home repair job. He was a builder by trade and loved working with his hands. Earlier in life, he served in the U.S. Navy, where he worked on jet engines during the Vietnam War.

At his request, no formal services are scheduled at this time. Friends wishing to pay their respects are encouraged to visit his wife at their home.
