Jerry Lee Leonard, age 79 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born July 13, 1943 in Galax, Virginia a son of the late Homer and Ida Leonard. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Monty Leonard. Jerry was the owner of Jerry’s Steakhouse for many years. He loved to meet and talk to people and was a friend to many throughout the county. Jerry loved to travel and spend time with his family. He was a member of the Rocky Mount Moose Lodge and Rocky Mount United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Lois Leonard; children, Todd Leonard and wife Darlene, Robyn Hardin and husband Joe; and grandchildren, Myles Leonard, Sidney Leonard and wife Kasie, Luke Hardin and Samantha Hardin. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2022 with Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
