Jerry Wayne Wright

Jerry Wayne Wright,77, of Collinsville, VA, passed away on July 7, 2024. He was born January 13, 1947, in Henry County, VA., to the late Willis Henry and Lillan Spears Wright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley McCollum and Linda Wright, and three brothers, Gary Wright, Donald Wright, and Tommie Wright.

Jerry is retired from the United Sates Army after 20 years of service. He worked for F&W Management in Roanoke, VA for 32 years as Maintenance Administrator.

Jerry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 34 years, Peggy Turner Wright; two sons, Jeff Wright of Collinsville, VA, Randy Determan (Austin) of Harrisburg, NC; one brother Carl Wright (Faye) of Bassett, VA; sister June Mitchell of King, NC; a very special niece April and husband, Rick Fail of Reidsville, NC, two special grandchildren Peyton and Allie Determan; and several other. His special fur baby, China.

The visitation will be held at the chapel at Bassett Funeral Services on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Following the visitation a funeral service will be held at 1pm in the chapel at Bassett Funeral Services.
