Jessica Susan Hankins

Jessica Susan Hankins, 42, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. Jessica was born in Martinsville, VA on March 26, 1983 to Mrs. Sandra Adkins Hankins and the late James Melvin Hankins Sr. She was of the Christian Faith and loved reading.

In addition to her Mother, Jessica is survived by a brother; James Melvin Hankins Jr.; two nephews; Eric Hankins and James Melvin Hankins III; and her favorite pet dog; Bailey, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her father, Jessica was predeceased by a sister; Wanda Wilson; a nephew; Michael Wilson; and her grandparents; Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Adkins, Mrs. Peggy Hawley, and Mr. Lawrence Hankins and Mrs. Lizzie Hankins.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00pm at Norris West End Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Cabell Cobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 1-2:00pm also at Norris West End Chapel. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
