Jimmy C. Lankford

Jimmy C. “Jim” Lankford, of Ridgeway, Virginia, died peacefully at Cone Health/Select Specialty Hospital, in Greensboro, North Carolina after a long illness with heart disease, pulmonary fibrosis and nonalcoholic cirrhosis of the liver.He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lankford and Catherine Pack Lankford; a brother, Timothy Lankford; and his beloved dog Otis.He was still employed with Guilford County Government, Greensboro, North Carolina, as a Plans Examiner.Special thanks to devoted friends; Shirley Whitlow, Tim Stone, Clarence Westcott, Matthew Crawford, and the medical staff at Cone Health/ Select Specialty Hospital.To honor his request, there will be no services.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
