Jimmy Lee Law

Jimmy Lee Law, age 78 of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025. He was born October 30, 1946, the son of the late Jessie Wilson and Odelle Hodges Law. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Edward Law; sisters, Judy Law Wood and Becky Law Coleman; brothers-in-law, Eugene Akers and David Flora.

Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife of 23 years, Gail C. Arrington Law; step-children, Chris Cole and Susan Carmichael; grandchildren, Kylah, Virginia and Patrick; sisters, Ethel Akers, Garnett Flora, Martha Hubbard (Billie) as well as his brothers-in-law, Ronald Coleman and Donnie Woods. Jimmy’s sisters always thought of him as their hero. He had many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly. Jimmy graduated from Franklin County High School where he was named Co-Captain of the Eagles Football Team. Jimmy loved playing cards, Smith Mountain Lake, beaches, traveling and the Parrotheads. He enjoyed many lifelong friends from J.P. Stevens.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2025 with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
