Joanmarie Novoa
Joanmarie Novoa, 60, of Roanoke, Virginia, originally from Jersey City, NJ, passed away after courageously battling multiple illnesses. Born with a spirit of resilience, Joanmarie faced life’s challenges head-on with toughness, humor, and a heart full of love.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Joan Considine nee Finnerty, and John Considine, her sisters Mary Kohler and Kathy Gibbs and her cherished daughter Kelly Considine. Despite enduring these profound losses, Joanmarie remained a beacon of strength and generosity for all who knew her. Her giving nature touched countless lives, always putting others before herself, even during her own struggles.
Joanmarie is remembered for her sharp wit, her caring spirit, and her unwavering determination. Whether she was lifting someone’s spirits with her infectious sense of humor or offering a hand in times of need, she made an indelible mark on the hearts of those around her.
Her memory will live on in the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the strength she embodied. She is survived by nieces and nephew and great nieces and nephews who will forever treasure the time they had with her.
In honor of our beloved Aunt Jo, a celebration of life will be held at a later time in her hometown in New Jersey.
