Joel Amos Young, age 76 of Henry passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Irene Young; and brothers, Larry, Donald and Benny Young. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Phyllis Scott Young; daughter, Michele Young; sisters, Ellen Moorefield (Bobby) and Linda Harmon (Russell); brothers, Glen and Lester Young; numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his precious Hunter who called him “PopPop” and his mother, Hannah who was always there for him. Mr. Young was a United States Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was an amazing husband, father and friend who would help anybody in need. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
