John Albert Curry

John Albert Curry, 85, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025. He was born August 17, 1939, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, to the late Lynwood Curry and Janette Hart Curry Liskey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Genan Conley; brothers, Charles Lynwood Curry, Joseph Curry, Ronald Curry, Pete Curry, and Richard Curry.

John proudly served in the Unites Sates Air Force and attended Harrisonburg High School. He was a dedicated employee of Cox Enterprise for over twenty years where he transported cars.

He is survived by his daughters, Deena Sundy (Shane) and Dorina Roadcap (Roger, Jr.); son, Dennis Curry (Brenda); sisters, Joyce Ault, Betty Morris (Clyde), Janice Curry, Darlene May, and Carolyn Davis (Daniel; eight grandchildren and eight great great-grandchildren.
