John Richards, 80, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years, Freda Richards; children, Bernice McCarty (John), Carol Hooper, John Richards Jr. (Lacy), David Matthew Richards (Sharron), Paula Chitwood,and Donna Corvin (David); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John was a hard working Sheet Metal Journeyman with Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #100. He loved to read his Bible, work in the garden, and he adored his family. He loved to fish, especially at Nag’s Head Fishing Pier in the Outer Banks, NC.
