John “Mike” Michael Thomason, 72, of Roanoke passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. He was a son of the late Willie Stewart Thomason, Sr. and Marian Frances Dawn Thurman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Vernard Thomason.
Surviving him are his daughter, Daima Amin and co-companion, Shadow; granddaughter, Kayla Shorts; son, Darren Bennett; numerous other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Williams Memorial Park, 943 Westside Blvd, NW, Roanoke.
