John "Ny" Bubba Bowman

John “Johnny” (Bubba) Bowman Jr., 61, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at SOVAH Health of Danville. He was born July 17, 1962, in Hillsville, Virginia, to the late John R. Bowman, Sr. and Berniece Johnson Bowman.He was employed by Applied Felts for over 10 years. He enjoyed watching sports, races, and going fishing, and loved his cats, birds, and fish. He was known for his friendly, outgoing personality, as he never met a stranger.He is survived by his wife, Virginia Gauldin Bowman; sister, Donna Moore (Tim); special girlfriend, Quttia Zigler; nieces, Kystal Lang (Nathan Haigler); and great nieces, Kaiyah, Kenna, and Penelope.The Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 7:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
