John Patrick Kelly

     John Patrick Kelly, 65, of Roanoke, Va passed away March 16, 2025. He passed away peacefully with his family around him. John was a delight to be around. He was always laughing and smiling. He loved music and would listen to it all day long. John was a cannabis lover and would enjoy it on an everyday basis. He was always sure to share and was more than willing to pass the bowl on any occasion. John never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. John made sure to keep his karma good. John loved to watch the sunrise and the sunset and was amazed by the stars and the universe. John loved his family, adored his wife and was very proud of his Children.

John was preceded in death by his father, Junior Kelly, Mother, Mildred Kelly and brothers, Danny Kelly, Donald Kelly, Michael Kelly, and Tony Kelly. John is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Kelly, Daughter, Brittany Doss and Her Wife, Angela and their children, Kyler, Braden (Vyolet), Zoey, Miley, JJ, Ariel, and Sutton; His Daughter, Courtney and Husband, Brian McKinney and their children, Samson and Nash McKinney and his Loving brother, Ted Kelly, Nephew Dan Kelly, nephew James Kelly and his wife Samantha, and Daughters Maxine and Ellie. Also, Breanna Hager (Paul) and her children Nevaeh, Paisley, Arieanna, April Perez and her son Liam. Bajha Haynes and her daughter Bianca, and his Buddies Chandler (Ashleigh) and Dakota. John loved his friends Jimmy, Dave and Pac. John didn’t want a service he wanted a party.

John wanted everyone to enjoy themselves and celebrate his life! The family would like to welcome everyone for a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 1pm at Golden Park (1566 Carlisle Ave SE Roanoke Va 24014) We are asking everyone to bring your favorite dish and A Rock the family can place in the front yard of their house to remember John.
