John "Robbie" Robert Goard

John “Robbie” Robert Goard, 68, passed away at his residence on July 23, 2025. Robbie was born in Danville, VA on July 2, 1957 to the late Alberta Waller Goard and the late Benjamin Lee Goard. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Gail Parker Goard. Robbie was of the Christian Faith and attended Hope Church.

In addition to his wife, Robbie is survived by a daughter; Tracy Phelps of Dry Fork, VA; a son; Brian Pritchett and wife Cheryl of Dry Fork, VA; a sister; Mollie Huemoeller; five grandchildren; Tommie Jo, Brice Pritchett, Brandon Pritchett, Alena Phelps, and Teagan Phelps; five great grandchildren; Grabriel “Gabe”, Coleman, Baylor, Tatum, and Brooklyn; and special dog; Odie Lee.

In addition to his parents, Robbie is predeceased by a brother; Ben Goard, and son in law; Bryan Phelps.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 2:00pm at Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, VA with Pastor Brian Edwards officiating. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
