John "Tommy" Gerrells

John Thomas “Tommy” Gerrells, 60, passed on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his residence, after a short illness. Tommy was born on January 4, 1965, to the late William Leo Gerrells and the late Rose Marie Mills Gerrells. His passion was hunting and fishing, and he loved to do both as often as possible.

Tommy is survived by a daughter, Katlyn Bray (Patrick), special friend, Carla Capps, brothers, William and Daniel Gerrells, grandchildren, Kamden Hall, Zoeigh Bray, and Jaxon Bray, and nieces and nephews, Alec Varipapa, Josh Gerrells, Zach Gerrells, Kacie McGoldrick (Kevin), and Daniel Hoyt Gerrells.

In addition to parents, Tommy was predeceased by his sister, Susan Varipapa and brother, David Gerrells.

A Memorial Service to honor and remember Tommy’s life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services - West End Chapel with Pastor Jim Spivey officiating.
