John "Wes" Wesley Ramey

John “Wes” Wesley Ramey, 90, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025. He was born on May 26, 1934, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late John Kemper Ramey and the late Dovie Bell Slate.

John is survived by his daughter, Lynn Ramey; sons, Bruce Ramey (Mary Lou), Jackie Ramey (Darlene Cooper), Rick Ramey, and John Ramey (Ryan); grandchildren, Michelle Roddy (Michael), Chris Ramey (Tori), Logan Ramey, Michael, Sarah, Joshua, David, Connor Ramey, and Abigayle Ramey; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service with be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Norris Funeral Services – Martinsville Chapel. The family will accept visitors one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow at Stateline Primitive Baptist Church, 3234 Wards Gap Road, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
