Jonathan Eric Neal

Jonathan Eric Neal, passed away on August 27, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on November 3, 1973, in Bluefield, WV, Jonathan's life was one marked by a deep appreciation for the simple joys - music, baseball, and gaming.

Jonathan spent his final days in Roanoke, VA, surrounded by the love and care of his family. Though he now joins his maternal grandparents, Andrew and Ruth Clements, paternal grandparents, William and Allene Neal, step-grandfather, Bill Duncan, and his beloved spouse, Kelly Rae Miller Neal, in eternal rest, his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to those he left behind.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Kathy Duncan and her husband, Ron, of Salem, VA; his father, Mike Neal and his wife, Karen, of Bluefield, WV; his brothers, Andy Neal and his wife, Melanie, of Salem, VA, Matthew Neal of Salem, VA; and his step-brother, Shaun Neal of North Carolina. Jonathan's legacy will also live on through his cherished niece, Morgan Weinstein and her husband, Matt; his nephews, Jordan Neal and his wife, Serenity, and Jacob Miller and his wife, Eli; as well as his step-grandmother, Dolly Duncan. His great-nephews, Mason and Luke.

A celebration of his life will be held privately with his family at a later date.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the kind and caring staff of Good Samaritan Hospice and South Roanoke Nursing Home.
