Jordan Michelle Murphy, 9 months, of Rocky Mount, passed away on May 19, 2024. Jordan was a very cheerful baby. There were very few times where you would find her crying. She had a smile that would radiate joy to everyone she saw, and she wore that smile proudly every day. Jordan never met a stranger; she would smile at everyone she met, and that smile would make them automatically fall in love with her from that moment forward.
Jordan is survived by her parents, Siobhan Russell, and Shawn Murphy; brothers, Justin Russell-Haroldsen, Kenny Eckert, Blaze Sowers, Mason Murphy; aunts and uncles, Chris and Sarah Russell, Devon Russell, Michelle and Mike Jackson, Angie and Mike Regan, Meagan and Alex Kucia; Grandfather, Dale Murphy; cousins, Gauge Russell, Awbre Sirk, Keighley Pack, Bentley Jackson, Madison Regan, Haley Regan, Violet Kucia; Biological Father, Jon Mitchell; sisters, Jaden, Aubriana, Kaylee Mitchell, aunt and uncle, Brittany and Devon Goggins; grandparents, Buck Mitchell, Tressa and Patrick Wilson; cousins, Zachary, Raelynn and Lieghanna Goggins; family friend, Stephanie Boyer; and her favorite dog, Spotacus.
She is preceded by her grandparents, Scott Russell, Colleen Russell, Brenda Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Monday May 27,2024 at Gardner Funeral Home at 2pm. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to service time from 12pm-2pm.
