Joseph Cecil Smith

Joseph Cecil Smith, age 64, of Danville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at SOVAH Health, Danville. He was born in Virginia, the son of the late Joseph R. Smith and the late Maxine Chilson Smith. He was married to Ann Brewer Smith, who survives, of the residence.

Joseph served in the U.S. Army and worked as a supervisor in the concrete industry. In his spare time, he loved motorcycles and video games.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by three sons, Bryan Smith (Tiffany), Marc Smith (Chassiti), and Michael Smith (Shannon); a sister, Angela Smith; and four grandchildren, Karsyn, Kailynn, Gunner, and Conrad. A brother, Keith Smith, predeceased Joseph, as well as his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
