Joyce Ann Austin Elliott

Joyce Ann Austin Elliott, 75, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 1, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born in Danville, VA on July 22, 1950 to the late Ruby Lois Marshall Cromer and the late John Cromer. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Jerry Pritchett Elliott Sr.

Joyce was a member of Whiteoak Worship Center. She loved the lord, and all of her kids at White Oak Worship Center. She enjoyed reading books, and loved her family. She was “Blessed and highly favored”.

In addition to her husband, Joyce is survived by a son; Jerry P. Elliott Jr. (Tammy) of Littleton, NC; a sister; Wanda Faye Austin Rushing of Austin, TX; grandchildren; Ian Matthew Elliott, Eden Rose Elliott, and Evan Myles Elliott and special friend and adopted daughter; Jennifer Pittmon.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was predeceased by a brother; Roy Kenneth Austin.

A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 1:00pm at White Oak Worship Center, 8465 US Highway 29, Blairs, VA 24527 with Pastor Roger Ewing and Stephen White officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA. A visitation will be held on the same day just prior to the service from 12:00-1:00pm, also at White Oak Worship Center.
