Joyce C. Carter, 86, formerly of Roanoke went home to be with God on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, David J. Carter; sons, Michael Carter (Michele), Alex Carter (Tracie); grandchildren, Ashley Langston, Logan Carter, Lindsay Nidriga, and Emerson "Emma" Carter.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Chaplain Troy Mays. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park.
