Joyce Clark

Mrs. Joyce McCauley Clark, age 81, of Covington, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at her residence with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late George William Clark.
Mrs. Clark was born November 11, 1943 in Covington, the daughter of the late William McCabe McCauley and Edna Irene Armentrout McCauley. She was a loving and devoted Mother, Mommom, Sister and Friend. A lifetime resident of this community, she was employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Mamerto Adrales as well as Dr. David Crandall for a number of years. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and gardening. She loved helping others , was a lifetime servant of the community and you would always find her back door open, a cup of coffee and a seat at her table.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Kim Whitmer and husband, Woody of Yorktown, Traci Davis and husband, James of Midlothian and Christopher Clark and wife, Stephanie of Winchester; three grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Will Davis, Makenzi Davis and Charlotte Clark; a sister who was always there for her, Sue Fridley and husband, Bo of Covington; and special friends, Wanda Martin, Diane Walker, Pat White and Shannon Fuhrman.
The family wants to thank Connections Plus and Sharon Wright and her team of angels for the wonderful care of mom.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, October 25, 2025, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Daniels officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Alleghany Humane Society, 9313 Rich Patch Road, Covington, VA 24426.
