Joyce Willis Setliff
Joyce Willis Setliff, 85, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born on March 11, 1939, in Danville, VA to the late Virginia Sours Willis and the late James William Willis. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of almost 60 years, Mr. James Ray “Jimmy” Setliff Sr.
Joyce was of the Christian faith, and a charter member of Ferry Road Friends Church, where she faithfully served as song leader for 42 years. She was a loving Homemaker for many years to her entire family.
Joyce is survived by two daughters; Jan Quinn (John) and Jennifer Setliff Leeper; two sons; Jay Setliff (Rachel) and Jeff Setliff (Jo); six grandchildren; Jordan Setliff Bayes (Justin), Jessie Blair, Jeffrey Setliff (Heather), Katie Long (Drew), GySgt. Austin Quinn (Courtney), and Greysen Leeper; one brother; Paul Willis; five great grandchildren; Lucas Shelton, Carter Curtis, Levi, Emmie, and Brooks Quinn, and one on the way.
In addition to her Parents and Husband, Joyce was predeceased by two sisters; Glenda Crowder and Margaret Carpenter; and a brother; Ed Willis.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 11:00am at Mt. View Cemetery, Danville, VA with Pastor Mike Wiles and Pastor Daryl Joyce officiating.
