Juanita Gravely Hairston

Juanita Gravely Hairston, 85, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025. She was born June 14, 1939, in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Henry Oliver Gravely and Audrey Lee Eggleston Gravely.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Hairston; sister, Olivia Gravely; brothers, James Gravely, Clayborn Gravely, Eugene Gravely, Lamei `n GravelyJuanita enjoyed laughing and visiting with friends. She loved talking about the bible any chance she got.She is survived by her daughters, Linda Hairston (Freddie), Sherry Carter, and Cutrena Allen (Larry); sons, Elvis Hairston (Cleo) and Errol Hairston; sister, Della Mae Gravely; brother, Reverend David Gravely (Mary); seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchild.The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service with Reverend David Gravely officiating. Interment will follow at Stoney Mountain Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 67 Boondocks Rd Martinsville, Virginia 24112. A visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service. A floating visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
