Juanita Maxine Gee

Juanita Maxine Gee, 92, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. She was born March 25, 1931, to the late Fred Samuel Burnett and Alice Cochran Burnette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Alfred B. Gee; sisters, Oleen Graham, and Jean Freeman; and brothers, Roger Burnette, and Gary Burnette.

Juanita was a very active member of Trinity Friends Church. She loved gardening, sewing, and cooking. She enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, and listening to music. She loved the Lord and her family greatly.

She is survived by daughters, Debra Kidd (Wayne) of the home, Karen G. Seay (Michael) of Bassett, Virginia, and Wanda Gee of the home; brother, Earl Burnette of West Virginia; grandchildren, Katie S. Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Christopher M. Seay of Eden, North Carolina; great grandchild, Ally Smith; and a sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral will be Friday, February 3, 2024, at 1 PM at Trinity Friends Church at 5 Summit Street, Martinsville, Virginia 24112 with Pastor Ron Hill officiating. The Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park at 103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112.
