Judy Johnston Garrett

Judy Johnston Garrett, 76, of Axton VA passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her residence. She was born on July 27, 1949, in Virginia to the late Aileen Bryant Johnston and Robert Johnston. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bobby Deal.

Mrs. Garrett was a member of County Line Christian Church and was a hairdresser for almost fifty-nine years.

Surviving is her husband, Carroll Garrett; daughters, Angela Garrett Fleming, and Amy Garrett (Darryl Donovant); siblings, Joan Nuckols (Earl), Dennis Johnston (Judy), Brenda Deal, Michael Johnston (Marla), Martha Soots (Barry), Becky Santiago (Richard), and Lisa Walker (Kurt); grandchildren, Dylan Matthew Hairfield (Taylor) and Colby Garrett Hairfield. Also surviving is a special sister-in-law, Phyllis Sites; nephew, Tommy Sites (Robin); niece, Carmala Shively (Andrew) and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at County Line Christian Church. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, with Ministers Dean Ashby and Tim Maness officiating. Burial will follow the service at County Line Christian Church Cemetery.
