Judy Kirkland Billingsley

Judy K. Billingsley, 81, of Forest, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 23, 1942, in Lamesa, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of the late Charles G. Kirkland and Melba Harris Kirkland.Judy was a devoted wife to her husband of 59 years, Clyde Billingsley. Together, they built a life full of love and faith. She is survived by her beloved husband Clyde; her daughter, Lida D. Arthur, and her husband Mike; her son, Charles Billingsley, and his wife Shae; five grandchildren, Tanner Jackson (Olivia), Colby Jackson, Dillon Jackson (Lexi), Caleb Billingsley, and Cooper Billingsley (Emily); and two great-grandchildren, James Jackson and Ava Jackson.A private family memorial service will be arranged at a later date to celebrate Judy’s remarkable life and the legacy she leaves behind.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1710 US Hwy 441, Leesburg, Florida 34748, a church that Judy and Clyde were instrumental in planting during their ministry.Judy’s faith, love, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
