Judy Reynolds Austin

Judy Reynolds Austin, age 65, of Dry Fork, VA passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at SOVAH Health, Danville, VA. She was born April 8, 1960, in Danville, VA, a daughter of the late Landon Reynolds and the late Barbara Robertson Reynolds. She was married to Barry “Steve” Austin, who survives, of the residence.

Judy lived all her life in the Danville and Pittsylvania County areas and was a member of Longview Friends Church. She worked for Gamewood Technology for many years as a secretary.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a sister, Debra R. Sweeney (Tim), a brother, Michael L. Reynolds (Donna S.), nephew, Christopher Rigney (April), niece Alex Rigney, great-nephew, Landon Rigney, and special pets, Mr. Spencer Tracey Austin and Miss Kitty Russell.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Longview Friends Church, Danville, VA officiated by Pastor Stephen Dixon. A visitation of friends will be held one hour prior to the memorial service, from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m., also at the Longview Friends Church.
