Judy Walker Wimmer

Judy Walker Wimmer, 76, of Bassett, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at her home. She was born on February 25, 1946, in Franklin County to the late Johnie Harding Walker and the late Martha Myrtle Pagans Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Ruth Walker.

Judy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Kenneth Andrew Wimmer; children, Angela Mullins (John), Johnie Wimmer and Wesley Wimmer (Ashley); grandchildren, Drew Mullins, Kaitlyn Martin (Trevor) and Maddie Grace Wimmer; brother, Mark Walker (Kathy); sister, Glorias Stone; special cousin, Paulette Hundley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM with Mark Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in Rocky Mount.
