Julian Michael Plumb
Julian Michael Plumb, 22, of Fincastle, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, after a tragic accident.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Julian and Marystone Rutherfoord; uncle, Barry
Camden; and his beloved “Pops”, Charlie Poore.
Julian is survived by his beautiful baby girl, Presley Jade Plumb, unborn son, arriving in February, Julian
Daniel Plumb, and their mother, Reagan Hester; his mother, Mary Katherine Garland (Josh Martin) of
Fincastle; his father, Daniel Plumb (Kendzie) of Fincastle; great grandfather, Joe Campbell of Clifton
Forge; grandparents, Michael Plumb Sr. of Eagle Rock; Penny and Charley Neil of Fincastle; and Julian’s
Mimi, Stacy Campbell Poore of Buchanan; sisters, Stacy Danielle Plumb, Marystone Garland, Heatherlyn
Garland, and Hazelleigh Garland; uncles, Michael Plumb Jr., Matthew Neil, Edward Neil (Rachel), David
Davis (Lisa), and Charles Davis (Wendy); aunts, Melissa Bierce and Sonya Long; cousins, Logan Davis,
Cameron Davis, Aiden Neil, Alexis Bierce, Victoria Bierce, JD Bierce, Michael Wood, Taylor Plumb,
Makenzie Long and Brooke McCormick; very special, lifelong friends, Timothy Bennett and Austin Warf
and good buddy Austin Burton.
Julian was a graduate of James River High School, Class of 2021, where he was a member of the
wrestling team. Growing up, he participated in the local boy scout troop for several years. Julian loved
hunting, fishing, dirt bikes and his big and loud Dodge, Dime 59. Julian had a heart of gold. He always
greeted everyone he met with that big, bright smile. His giggle was contagious and will never be
forgotten. He was born an old soul and will live on in ours forever.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 4:00 until 6:00 pm.
Juju will always be his Daddy’s boy, his Momma’s baby, and his Mimi’s pride and joy.
Forever, his sister’s guardian angel.
