Karen Kimberlin Harmon

Karen Leigh Kimberlin Harmon, age 66, of 217 East Gordon Street, Covington, Virginia died Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation in Low Moor, Virginia.
Karen was born on December 30, 1957 in Alleghany County, Virginia to Barbara Jane Clark Hoke the late Arnold Leroy Kimberlin. She was a Data Entry Technician for the Virginia Employment Commission. She was a member of Living Word Assembly of God Church in Covington and enjoyed camping. Known to most as “Mama Karen”, she loved all children, but her grandchildren were her world.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step father, Glenn Hoke; a nephew, Scottie Kimberlin; and a niece, Jessica Reynolds.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Hoke of Clifton Forge; two daughters, Shonda Anderson of Clifton Forge and Wendy Anderson of Covington; a son, Kris Anderson and wife Ashley of Covington; two sisters, Kathy Kimberlin, and significant other Paul, and Sharon Hoke; seven brothers, Donnie Kimberlin and wife Roberta, Wayne Kimberlin and wife Shirley, Scott Kimberlin and wife Angie, and Bert Hoke and significant other Amanda, James Kimberlin and wife Tami, Sam Kimberlin, and Mike Kimberlin; five grandchildren, Kolby, Santana, Chayse, Kaden, and Jaelyn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A time of visitation will be held at a later date.
