Karen Marie Young

Karen Marie Young, 50, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at SOVAH Health of Martinsville. She was born April 7, 1972 in Winchester, Indiana, to Reba Jackson Young and the late Billy G. Young. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Mullins. She graduated from high school and attended four years of college. She had been employed in the office at the Parc Workshop. She loved going on cruises, going to the National Quartet Conventions, and the Outer Banks. She enjoyed taking care of children and loved her cat Foo. Karen is survived by her mother, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Memorial Service will be Monday, December 19, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be at a later date.
