Karl Ivar Fotland

Karl Ivar Fotland, age 66, of Dublin died, Monday, March 31, 2025. He was born in Canada on June 2, 1958, to the late Arne and Mughlid Buvik Fotland. Karl retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Vicky Fotland; daughter, Krista Fotland; son, Glen Fotland; stepdaughter, Ammie Carter (Shannon); grandchildren, Alaina (Chris), Brentyn, Kaleb and Lillian; great-grandchildren, Liam and Lilly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Neal Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Southwest Virginia Veteran Cemetery, Dublin.
