Kathryn "Kathy" Robertson Clemons

Kathryn "Kathy" Elizabeth Robertson Clemons, 74, of Indian Land, South Carolina, formerly of Salem, Virginia, passed away, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Robertson of Princeton, West Virginia. Kathy was a graduate of Southern Seminary Junior College and had a long career in administrative work including First National Exchange Bank, Sears Tele Catalog, RPS, and retired from the State of Virginia in the Roanoke County Salem Health departments in vital records. She then worked for Simpson Funeral Home doing administrative work until 2020.

She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years Steve, daughter Elizabeth ( Jamie) Dillingham, son Steven ( Stephanie ) Clemons and her two wonderful grandsons Elliott and Henry Clemons. She leaves behind many wonderful friends whom she loved. 

She will be missed for her famous poundcakes, sewing projects, and sense of humor. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Angels of Assisi of Roanoke Virginia, AngelsofAssisi.org.

Her Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Gadman and Pastor Brian Holt officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 28, 2025 at Simpson Funeral Home, Peters Creek Road Chapel from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home Peters Creek Road Chapel.
