Kathy Dillon Foster

Kathy Dillon Foster, 67, of Danville, passed away on July 26, 2024, at Sovah Health, Martinsville, VA. She was born in Martinsville on July 12, 1957, to the late James Franklin Dillon and the late Doris Malinda Martin Moore. Ms. Foster was of the Baptist faith and worked as a truck driver for several years prior to becoming disabled.

Left to mourn her passing are her two children, Margaret Malinda Foster (Chris), her daughter, of Danville and Lee Foster (Patricia) of Brosville, VA, whom she adored like life itself. In addition, she is survived by three grandchildren, Caitlin Foster (fiancé Cody), Skylar George, and Josh Fuller, all of Danville.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Foster was predeceased by her stepdad, Early Moore, two sisters, Brenda Long (Hughie) and Peggy Jones (Roger), and the long-time love of her life, Daniel Toy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel, 511 Church Ave., Danville.

The family respectfully requests that any flowers sent in memory of Ms. Foster be sent to the Norris Funeral Services, West End Chapel and not to the home.
