Kathy Louise Gibson Weatherford

Kathy Louise Gibson Weatherford, 72, entered into her heavenly home on July 3, 2023. She was born in Danville, VA to the late Ruby Lyle Gibson Reynolds and the late Ashley Thomas Gibson. She is survived by her loving husband of many years, Tony Elton Weatherford.

In addition to her husband, Kathy is survived by a daughter; Laurie Adams (Tony) of Danville, VA; two sisters; Joan Scruggs of Danville, VA and Janice Rhinehardt of New Mexico; three grandchildren; Haley Adams Irby (Joe), Austin Ray Adams, and Lindsey Adams.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by a sister; Linda Blair; a brother; Rabon Gibson; and a Step Father; Beachum Frank Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with pastor Doug Barber officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00pm, also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
