To know Keddy’s story of fleeing Cuba when Castro took over everything is to love and admire her strength. She was separated from her newborn son, and forced to begin a new life in the United States. She loved the United States so much that she decided to become a citizen. Her grit, determination, courage, and spirit of resolve led her to accomplish many things here in the USA. She was very wise and extremely smart. At age 50 she earned her Registered Nursing degree and impacted so many people, especially the elderly and lonely. Being from Cuba, she made the best margaritas on earth. She will be missed more that words can express.
Keddy loved to travel, and she and her beloved husband, Tony traveled just about everywhere.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 37 years, David Anthony “Tony” Kelly; sons, Carlos and Eloy; grandsons, Charlie and Jacob.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to the Riverside Hospital Hospice team, Lindsey in the Patient Advocacy Department and to her devoted caregiver, Sunshine Albright for their many acts of kindness and compassion.
